Hi there!

I'm Chris, founder of Dickfraction Glasses — a novelty diffraction glasses business. Dickfraction Glasses are exactly what they sound like: a playful, adult-humor spin on the classic party diffraction glasses, designed to make people laugh and add a little silliness to our lived reality.

The idea for these glasses came from my identities as a member of both the LGBTQIA+ community and the EDM raving community. For me, raving has been a way to practice feeling comfortable in my own skin, in a space that's safe and accepting — so that eventually I could carry that same comfort into times and places where it doesn't come so easily. It's been a way of connecting with the part of myself that wants to make the world a little kinder, a bit more vibrant, and a lot more silly. Somehow, that same instinct is what led me to start making diffraction glasses that show... dicks! (Lol what could be gayer than that?)

That said, a huge part of my journey toward self-acceptance has been learning not to take myself too seriously. What's life without a little whimsy? These glasses were born out of a desire to make my friends and family laugh, and I wanted to extend that same small bit of happiness to you. For a lot of us, living in this world is already hard enough — my hope is that these glasses give you, someone you know, or even a total stranger, one more reason to laugh.

I'll be honest: this is my first time launching a business on my own, and it's been every bit as nerve-wracking as it has been fulfilling. Along the way, I learned I wasn't the first person to think of glasses like these — but I couldn't find anywhere that made them easy to just buy on a whim. That gap is why Dickfraction Glasses exists: so anyone, anytime, can get their hands on a pair.
